About Us

We are The Unity Trio – a jazz trio featuring Dean Pearson on bass, Simon Chapman on drums and Darren Dutson-Bromley on guitar. We play classic jazz standards, as well as latin, contemporary jazz and and bossa nova.

We’re based in North West England, primarily in West Yorkshire & Greater Manchester. The trio name comes from The Grayston Unity in Halifax where we first all met and played together.
